Polyem is an imaginary city after the energy disaster. Nature came to life with new hope. The city is situated between the borders of Poland and Yemen, therefor it took the name of both countries- Polyem
Collaboration work between me and my awesome and talented friend Dafne Please if you fave mine, fave her as well All stock/photo texture credits goes to http://www.depositphotos.com and www.cgtextures.com/
the colours are amazing, the way the light shines through the boat is enchanting and the fact that you've been so conservative with the glow from the plant gives a real sense that while hope exists it is only just beginning to bloom, I get this feeling that I'm right at the start of everything turning around
My friend and myself have tried to do similar collabs before, matte paintings, but they never turn out this nice. We had control/creative/procrastination issues...Lol. That was back in college, maybe we can try again... Though she is more into oils now...I hate oils. It's not meant to be!!
Which is fine, I'll just leave this kind of stuff to you (and your friend) because you are awesome!! Congrats on the DD.
Hey thanks a lot, and yeah i feel you coz we had same issues here too, but we insisted to finish it... So it took like 2 months to get it done, that includes procrastination and stuff so you gotta be patient doing these stuff... I hate oils to be honest i love when i do oils feel with tablet is way more fun tho ... I hope you guys can do something epic soon
I kind of have a love-hate idea with this, I would never want to see something like that to the earth, all the life (not just humans) would be gone... and I love the image, everything look awesome, and that little but main character of the flower. Looks beautiful but terryfing at the same time.
